Amanullah Khan (June 1, 1892 - April 25, 1960) was the King of Afghanistan. He abdicated under pressure from Britain, and lived in exile in Switzerland. He became emir of Afghanistan in 1919 before turning it into a monarchy in 1926. Enayatullah Khan succeeded him on the throne for only three days.
