Politics

Turkey is a secular, democratic state that was established in 1923 under its leadership, Mustafa Kemal Ataturk, and this means (Father of the Turks) after the Ottoman Empire collapsed due to its defeat in the First World War. From 2005, Turkey began negotiations with the European Union to take full membership.
