Farghali Abdel Hafeez is an Egyptian plastic artist, born in Dayrout, Assiut Governorate, in 1941. He is one of the pioneers of fine artists. Bachelor of Art Education, 1962, Diploma of the Academy of Fine Arts, Florence, Italy, 1968. Professor, Department of Design, Faculty of Art Education, Helwan University, Dr. Farghali participated in more than 20 local and international exhibitions. He contributed to the establishment of the Five Artists Group in 1963, and the Mehwar Group in 1981, he designed the decorations for "Aida Opera" - Prague 1994.

His life

One of the pioneer artists. He received a Bachelor of Art Education, in the year 1962. Diploma of the Academy of Fine Arts, Florence, Italy, 1968. Dean of the College of Art Education between 1989 and 1994. Professor, Department of Design, Faculty of Art Education, Helwan University. Participated in more than 200 local and international exhibitions. He contributed to the establishment of the Five Artists Group in 1963, and the Mehwar Group in 1981. He designed the decorations of "Opera Aida" - Prague in 1994.

Prizes

First prize of the third Cairo International Biennale "Photography" 1988. The Jury Prize, the Fifth Cairo International Biennale, 1995. Alexandria Biennale Prize for the Mediterranean Countries in Excavation "On the Egyptian Pavilion" 1970.
