France is a nuclear power and one of the five countries that have permanent membership in the Security Council The capital of France is Paris, and its president now is Francois Hollande, and the official language for it is French, with an area of 674,843 square kilometers, making it the largest country in the European Union in area and a population of 64.5 million. France is the largest country in the European Union on the one hand, and the second largest country in Europe after Russia and Ukraine, and the second largest country in Europe if you consider its lands that are outside the European Union. France was a major power with strong economic, cultural, military and political influence.
