Aswan is one of the governorates of Upper Egypt in southern Egypt and includes the city of Aswan, Kom Ombo, Edfu and Kalabsha. A camera appeared on April 26, 1888 due to the dangers of the Mahdist revolution in Sudan, and with Edfu, Treasures and Halfa, it remained a directorate called the Border Directorate, but in a year in the year 1900 another decision was issued to name the directorate “Aswan Directorate”, which is now the Aswan Governorate and its capital is the city of Aswan.
