Karel Richter (28 May 1926 Prague – 5 August 2022) was a Czech actor and voice actor. He played a number of film and stage roles, was a member and, from 1974 to 1989, director of the Jiří Wolker Theatre. In 1983, he was awarded the title of meritorious artist. He devoted himself fully to dubbing from the 1960s until the end of his life. He gained his first experience already in 1940 when recording the album Karafiátový Broučků. In 1996, he received the Senior Prix award from the Actors' Association, and in 1997, he received the František Filipovský Award for lifelong excellence in dubbing.
