Pavle Jurišić Šturm (* as Paulus Eugen Sturm, August 22, 1848 Görlitz - January 14, 1922 Belgrade) was a Serbian general who fought in the Balkan Wars and the First World War. Paulus Eugen Sturm was born on August 22, 1848 in Görlitz in Prussian Silesia and was of Lusatian-Serbian descent. Paul Jurišić graduated from the Military Academy in Wrocław. From 1870 to 1871, as an officer in the Prussian army, he took part in the Prussian-French War. From 1876 to 1878 he fought in the Serbian-Turkish war on the Serbian side, during the First World War he commanded the Serbian 3rd Army and took part in the Battle of Kolubar.
