Pavol Mešťan (original surname Marmorstein [source?]; November 11, 1946 - April 29, 2022) was a teacher in Slovakia and the director of the Museum of Jewish Culture in Bratislava. He studied Slovak and history. He later worked at the KSS University of Applied Sciences in Bratislava, where he obtained a professorship. He currently works at the Department of Political Science and European Studies, Faculty of Arts, Charles University in Nitra. [Source?] Miroslav Kusý described him as the main normalizer in Slovakia.
