SpaceX Crew-3 is the third operational flight of the American spacecraft Crew Dragon. The SpaceX Crew-3 was launched by the Falcon 9 Block 5 from the Kennedy Space Center and transported four crew members to the International Space Station (ISS).
The launch was originally scheduled for October 23, 2021, but in mid-June 2021 NASA announced a postponement of the launch to at least October 31 and the arrival of another ISS crew no earlier than mid-April 2022. 2021 at 6:43 UTC and a backup start date on Sunday, October 31, 2021 at 6:21 UTC, but on October 21, it was announced that a backup start date would be used. Due to bad weather over the Atlantic, takeoff was postponed to November 3, 2021 and then several more times, first due to a minor health problem of an unnamed crew member, then due to Crew-2's preference over Crew-3's arrival at the station, and finally The takeoff took place on Thursday, November 11, 2021 at 02:03:21 UTC (03:03:31 CET), the backup date was November 12 at 02:40 CET. The ship Endurance joined the ISS (the front port of the Harmony module) on the day of launch at 23:32 UTC. The crew opened the hatch and boarded the ISS less than two hours later.
