Luis Hernán Díaz Villegas (Buga, Valle del Cauca, September 5, 1945 - Cali, Valle del Cauca, November 24, 2021) [3] was a multiple champion Colombian cyclist in track and road events, nicknamed "the bullet Colombian ". He is a great sprinter, with great performance in individual pursuit events on the track in which he obtained several national and international titles. Together with Carlos Montoya, he has been the cyclist who has ridden the highest number of laps of Colombia (18) in history.

Biography

From the age of five, his family moved from Buga to the municipality of Tuluá, so his cycling race was carried out mainly as a representative of the latter population. [4] He passed away on November 24, 2021 at age 76 of cancer. [5]
