Megaforce Records is an American independent record label, specialized in heavy metal, founded in 1982 in New York, United States. His catalog includes, or has included bands like Metallica, Anthrax, Testament, S.O.D., Method Of Destruction, King's X, Warren Haynes, The Disco Biscuits, and more recently Ministry, Bad Brains, Rose Hill Drive, Less Than Jake, Mushroomhead or The Black Crowes. Megaforce began its activities in 1982, initially as a means to launch Metallica's first works on the market. The company has become one of the most important labels in the world of heavy metal, through the years. Megaforce is distributed in the United States by Sony BMG Music Entertainment - RED Distribution. The company also handles the distribution of "MRI", its sister company, which has released productions by Guitar Wizard Robert Randolph, Andrew Bird, Fiery Furnaces, Medeski Martin & Wood, Dinosaur Jr, The Verve and Futureheads, among other artists.

On February 3, 2012, Madonna released her twelfth studio album, and with it, the video for its standout song, Give Me All Your Luvin', which was produced by Megaforce.
