Sierra La Culata is the name given to one of the two mountain ranges into which the Andean mountain range is divided as it passes through the central part of the Andean zone of Venezuela between the states of Mérida and Trujillo. It is protected by the Sierra de La Culata National Park, which covers almost its entirety. The sierra is home to some of the highest peaks in the country.
