Volapük is a fictitious language that was coined in 1880 by the German Catholic priest Johann Martin Schlier (or Schelhier). The language is based on simple German words and regular grammar. Wallachia is more or less extinct today, but by the 1880s it had become so popular in German academic circles that some 500,000 people were reportedly studying it. Today, the number of Walapuk speakers in the world is estimated at 25 to 30. The name of this language is derived from the two words vol and puk, which are distorted from the two English words world (world) and speak (speaking).

Valapuk from the language of William Ald

William Ald, a talented writer, poet, and translator of the Transformed Esperanto language, who has been nominated for the Nobel Prize for Literature several times, writes of the Wallachian language in his valuable work, The Esperanto Phenomenon: In the world of meta-languages, the first project that gained a significant number of serious followers and succeeded in being used and developed in practice was the Wallachian language. The language was published in 1880 by a German priest named Johann Martin Schelhier. With the help of a popular German-language magazine, Schellhire was able to publicize his project well and try to make it as popular as possible, so much so that after nine years, his language became so pervasive that its final victory seemed certain. . According to Theo Young: In 1889, there were 283 Wallachian clubs around the world; At that time, 316 books were written in 25 different languages of the world to teach Walapuk, 25 magazines were published, 7 of which were written entirely in Walafuk. Three congresses of Valapuks were held, the third of which, the most important, was held in Paris in 1889. Only the Wallachian language was spoken at this congress, and the ultimate victory of the Schalir language seemed certain. But in the same year, its fall began. The Walapuk language movement withered and disappeared even faster than it flourished. This was due to some of Schelhire's fundamental errors in important concepts of language. First, although Wallachian language was structurally very interesting and even accurate, in practice it was too difficult to learn. Although its vocabulary was derived from European languages, especially English, their form in Wallachian was so distorted that it was difficult to recognize most of them. As an example
