Dennis Waterman (February 24, 1948 in Clapham, London, England - May 8, 2022 in Spain) was an English actor. He is known for, among other things, the TV series Group Pullman, in which he plays Gerry Standing. He also acted in films e.g. Back in Business and in the series Minder and The Sweeney. Waterman's theme song "I Could Be So Good For You" rose to third on British singles charts in November 1980. The song is often cited as composed by Dennis Waterman, but was actually composed by his then-wife Patricia Waterman. Waterman was four times married and has two children.
