Jonas Vingegaard Rasmussen (born 10 December 1996 in Hillerslev, North Jutland) is a Danish road cyclist and winner of the Tour de France. He is at his best in stage races and when riding on hilly terrain. He started his professional career in the ColoQuick Cycling team from 2016 to 2018 and has represented Team Jumbo-Visma since 2019. Vingegaard finished second in the Tour de France 2021. He lost to Tadej Pogačar, who won the race, by five minutes and 20 seconds. In the next year's Tour de France, he won the 11th stage and the 18th stage driven in the Alps. In the end, Vingegaard won the overall competition with a difference of 2 minutes and 43 seconds to Pogačari.
