Anthony James "Lonnie" Donegan (29 April 1931, Glasgow, Scotland – 25 November 2002, Market Deeping, Lincolnshire, England) was a Scottish singer, songwriter and musician. Donegan started playing and singing at a young age. He had a long musical career. Donegan died on November 25, 2002, aged 71, of a heart attack. One of Donegan's most famous recordings was Puttin' on the Style (1957), which was recorded in Finnish by, among others, Lasse Liemola and Hullujussi under the name Diivaillen. The Suomennos is written by Lasse Liemola.
