Eugène Huat was a French professional boxer born February 8, 1907 in Reims and died December 15, 1980 in Paris.

Biography

Eugène Alfred Huat is the son of Marcel Alphonse Huat and Charlotte Lefebvre. He marries Blanche Pierrette Le Bihan. French amateur champion in 1926 in the flyweight category, he moved into the professional ranks the same year and became French and European champion in the category on June 20, 1929 after his victory against Émile Pladner. Huat ended his career in 1943 with a record of 81 wins, 45 losses and 9 draws, then became a boxing teacher. He died at his home in rue de la Paix in Paris at the age of 73.
