Jackie Walorski, born August 17, 1963 in South Bend (Indiana) and died August 3, 2022 in Nappanee (Indiana), was an American politician and member of the Republican Party. In 2012, she was elected to the United States House of Representatives for Indiana's second congressional district.

Biography

Political career

From 2006 to 2010, Jackie Walorski represented the 21st district in the Indiana House of Representatives.

United States House of Representatives

Already a candidate in 2010 in Indiana's second district, Jackie Walorski narrowly failed against Democrat Joe Donnelly. Benefiting from a favorable redistricting, she was elected on November 6, 2012.

Death

On August 3, 2022, Jackie Walorski died in a car accident near Nappanee, Indiana. The accident is caused by the collision with another vehicle. Her communications adviser Emma Thomson and district manager Zachery Potts who were in the car with her also did not survive.
