Marie Versini, born August 10, 1939 in the 16th arrondissement of Paris (France) and died November 22, 2021 in Guingamp, is a French actress.

Biography

She studies at the Lycée Molière (Paris). In 1956, she made her debut at the Antoine theater in L'Ombre by Julien Green. Partner: Jean-Louis Trintignant. Director: Jean Meyer. In 1957, she was hired at the Comédie Française as a boarder. She is the youngest boarder of all time. Then, she went on to perform roles at the Comédie Française, playing Shakespeare, Marivaux, Molière, Racine, Beaumarchais, Labiche, Victor Hugo, etc. She became an actress in the cinema from the 1960s: it was her role as "Nscho Tschi", the little sister of the Indian Winnetou in The Revolt of the Apache Indians that made her a star of German cinema.
