Bantamweight is a weight class in combat sports. In professional English boxing, it concerns athletes weighing between 51.709 kg (114 pounds) and 53.525 kg (118 pounds). In men's amateur boxing (Olympic), the limit is set between 52 and 56 kg. The category is not open to women for the 2012 and 2016 Games.
