Waukesha is a city in Wisconsin, Waukesha County, United States. It is here that the guitarist and inventor Les Paul, who gave his name to the Gibson Les Paul, is buried. The city covers 64.9 km2 and has 64,825 inhabitants since the last population census. The population density is 998.4 inhabitants per km² in the city. Surrounded by Pewaukee, Wales and Pewaukee, Waukesha is located 24 km southwest of Milwaukee.

Ram car attack

On November 21, 2021, a car-ramming attack during a Christmas parade left six dead and more than sixty injured.
