Jonas Vingegaard Rasmussen (Hillerslev, December 10, 1996 –) is a Danish professional cyclist, currently riding in the Team Jumbo–Visma team. Winner of the 2022 Tour de France.

Vingegaard started his professional career in 2016, when he signed a contract with Team ColoQuick. During the two years he spent here, he could not make a living from cycling, so he took a job in a fish processing plant in the north of Denmark. In 2018, in a training camp, he set a new record on the climb of the Coll de Rates, which was noticed by Team Jumbo-Visma and signed him for the following year. Because of his shape, he had a hard time getting used to the main field, but he managed to get his first stage win at the Polish circuit, which gave him a lot of confidence. He came to the last stage as the overall leader, but on the last hill the contenders managed to tear him down, so he fell back to 26th place. His first three-week tour took place at the 2020 Vuelta, where he assisted Primož Roglič. By 2021, his role in the team was solidified, and he also participated in the Basque circuit, where he finished second behind Roglič and became the best young rider overall. He came to the 2021 Tour de France in a similar role, but after his captain Roglič was forced to retire after the eighth stage due to a crash, Vingegaard became the new captain as he was the best in the overall standings. He was able to cope with the task, to put it mildly, both in the Alps and in the Pyrenees, he was able to keep pace with Tadej Pogačar and Richard Carapaz, and thanks to this, he was in second place until the penultimate stage, six seconds ahead of the Ecuadorian. However, he even managed to beat Pogačar in the time trial, thus securing second place in the overall. He started his 2022 year at Tirreno-Adriatico, where he finished second, then finished sixth at the Basque Circuit. He finished second behind Roglič in the 2022 Critérium du Dauphinén after winning the final stage.
