47 Years of Independence Day of the Republic of Indonesia military ceremony at the Merdeka Palace, Medan Merdeka, Gambir, Gambir, Central Jakarta, all parts of the community participated in their own way. The commemoration of the seconds of the Proclamation at the Merdeka Palace was led by the President of the Republic of Indonesia as the Ceremony Inspector.
The ceremony started at around 10:00 WIB to commemorate the beginning of the Proclamation ceremony in '45. The commemoration ceremony is usually broadcast live by all Indonesian national television stations. Events in the morning included: firing of cannons and sirens, raising of the Sang Saka Merah Putih (Bendera Indonesia) flag, reading of the text of the Proclamation of Indonesian Independence, Indonesian Air Force fighter jets Flypast which usually congratulates the cockpit of fighter jets, Aubade from the Gita Choir Bahana Nusantara, and many others.
In the afternoon there was a ceremony for the lowering of the Sang Saka Merah Putih State Flag, which was stored at the Merdeka Palace, Medan Merdeka, Gambir, Gambir, Central Jakarta.
