Dr. H. Gamawan Fauzi, S.H., M.M. title Datuk Rajo Nan Sati (born 9 November 1957) is an Indonesian bureaucrat and politician. He served as Minister of Home Affairs of Indonesia from October 22, 2009 to October 20, 2014. Previously he served as Governor of West Sumatra from August 15, 2005 to October 22, 2009.

Curriculum Vitae

Gamawan Fauzi is the main implementer of the e-KTP program in Indonesia. He is also the Minister of Home Affairs who was involved in the completion of the Yogyakarta Privileges Law which regulates the Special Region of Yogyakarta in 2012. The Minister of Home Affairs (Mendagri) Gamawan Fauzi said that the achievement of the target for completing the Electronic Identity Card (e-KTP) in the country has exceeded the performance of the e-KTP of developed countries such as Germany, the United States (US) and India.
