Leane Suniar (4 February 1948 – 21 November 2021) was an Indonesian former Olympic archery athlete. She represented her country in the women's singles competition at the 1976 Summer Olympics. She managed to finish in 9th place after both rounds, ending with a score of 2352 points. Leane was then entrusted to serve as the manager of the Indonesian Archery National Team at the 2010 Asian Games in Guangzhou, People's Republic of China and the 2014 Asian Games in Incheon, South Korea. Leane is also a specialist in Clinical Nutrition and has published a number of books. He served as Director of the Indonesian Christian University Hospital (UKI), Deputy Head of the Central KONI Sport Science Division and as Chairman of the Medical Commission of the Indonesian Olympic Committee. Leane was also involved as Director of the Medical and Doping Control Department of the Indonesian Asian Games Organizing Committee (INASGOC) at the 2018 Asian Games. Leane died on November 21, 2021 at the Gatot Soebroto Army Hospital, Jakarta due to bowel cancer.
