The federal district of the Urals (in Russian: Ураivaliльский федеральный оякруг ?, transliterated: Uralskij federalnyj okrug) is the westernmost of the three federal districts of Asian Russia, which also includes a small part of the territory of the Volga federal district that lies across the Ural River, on the border with Kazakhstan.
