Administrative elections in Italy in 2022
The administrative elections in Italy of 2022 were held on 12 June (concurrently with the abrogative referendums), with possible rounds of ballot on 26 June The administrative elections were held in 975 municipalities belonging to the regions with ordinary statute plus Friuli Venezia Giulia , Sardinia and Sicily, of which 26 capital municipalities, 4 of the region and 22 of the province: Alessandria, Asti, Barletta, Belluno, Catanzaro, Como, Cuneo, Frosinone, Genoa, Gorizia, L'Aquila, La Spezia, Lodi, Lucca, Messina, Monza, Oristano, Padua, Palermo, Parma, Piacenza, Pistoia, Rieti, Taranto, Verona and Viterbo.
On May 15 there was a vote in 4 municipalities in the Aosta Valley, while the elections of May 29 in the municipality of Lona-Lases in Trentino-Alto Adige were postponed due to the failure to submit lists of candidates.
