The megabit is the unit of measurement that represents one million bits and is abbreviated with the abbreviation Mbit or Mb (not to be confused with Megabyte or MB, where one byte corresponds to 8 bits). This unit of measurement is often used, in relation to time (in seconds), to calculate the transmission speed of digital signals.
