The Lazio Sports Society, better known as S.S. Lazio or more simply Lazio, is an Italian multi-sports club from Rome, known above all for its football section. It was founded on 9 January 1900 as a Lazio Podistica by fifteen athletes led by the non-commissioned officer of the Bersaglieri Luigi Bigiarelli. After making his debut in a white uniform, at the beginning of the twentieth century he adopted today's biancoceleste game outfit. The Lazio Podistica Society (renamed the Lazio Sports Society only from 19 June 1926), was founded on 9 January 1900 in Piazza della Libertà, in the Prati district of Rome, by a group of fifteen boys, headed by the young non-commissioned officer of the Bersaglieri, as well as what a runner, Luigi Bigiarelli ..
