"The Diary of Anne Frank" (Anne's Nikki, Dutch: Het Achterhuis) is a literary work by Anne Frank, a Jewish-German girl.

Overview

It is set in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, under German occupation during World War II. A live copy of the lives of eight Jews lurking in a cough-sensitive hideaway to avoid the Holocaust of Jewish hunting by the National Socialist German Workers' Party. The writing lasted about two years before being captured by the Gestapo in Nazi Germany by a sneak peek (the sneak peek is still unknown). Recorded from June 12, 1942 to August 1, 1944. After her death, it was published by the efforts of her surviving father, Otto Frank, and became a global bestseller.

Characters

The main characters are seven cohabitants who were hiding with Anne in a hideout at 263 Princenfrahat, Amsterdam. Anne Frank In her diary, she calls herself "Anne Aulis" and then "Anne Robin". After she was arrested, she was in Bergen-Belsen concentration camp and she was allegedly killed by typhus. Otto Frank Anne and Margot's father. He was the only survivor after the war after being arrested and published the diary of her daughter Anne. Edith Frank Anne and Margot's mother. She is Otto's wife. It can be seen from her diary that she often collided with Anne. After her arrest, she died in Auschwitz concentration camp. Margot Frank Anne's sister. From her diary, it can be seen that she has mixed feelings about the relationship between Peter and Anne. After her arrest, she died in the Bergen-Belsen concentration camp. Peter van pels A boy who has a romantic relationship with Anne. "Alfred van Pels" in the diary. After being arrested, he died in the Mauthausen concentration camp. Hermann van Pels Peter's father. "Hans van Pels" in the diary. From the diary, it can be seen that there was a lot of friction with the Frank family. He died in Auschwitz camp after his arrest. Auguste van Pers Hermann's wife, Peter's mother. She is "Petronella van Pels" in her diary. Her diary suggests that she, like Hermann, had friction with the Franks, but often portrays her comical personality. She died after she was arrested, but it is unknown to which camp she was sent. Fritz Pfeffer dentist. "Albert Dussel" in the diary. He had a mistress, but since his mistress is not Jewish, he joins the hideout alone. He has a bad deal with Anne and is often villainized in her diary. After being arrested, he died in the Neuengamme concentration camp.

Establishment of diary

From 10 am to 10:30 am on August 4, 1944, the eight Jews lurking in the hideout were dispatched by the security police (SD) staff stationed in Amsterdam after being informed by someone (SD) officials (SD). He was arrested by Karl Josef Silberbauer, Sergeant of the Guard and several Dutch Nazi members. Victor Kugler and Johannes Kleiman, who were hiding them, were also taken. However, the women Miep Gies and Bep Voskuijl escaped arrest. Of the eight Jews arrested, only Otto Frank was able to reach the postwar era. Seven other Jews, including Anne, were forcibly requisitioned at their respective destinations.
