Sapporo City-The location of the prefectural office in Hokkaido. It belongs to the Ishikari Promotion Bureau and is the location of the Promotion Bureau Government Building. Sapporo Prefecture-A prefecture that once existed in Hokkaido. It existed from 1882 to 1886 and was abolished due to the establishment of the prewar Hokkaido Agency. An administrative division that is a subordinate organization of the prewar Hokkaido Agency, which was established by the county, ward, town, and village organization law.
