Wikipedia: What's New

October 23, 2021

What's New serves as a link to the reader in the main page to read updated documents related to recent events. What's new helps to create a great encyclopedia, which is the core purpose of Wikipedia. Unlike Wikinews, which is Wikipedia's sister project, Wikipedia is not a newspaper and does not allow reader research. However, many Wikipedia users create encyclopedic articles inspired by hourly interests. New posts can be edited in Template:New Posts, and only automatically authenticated users can edit them. Also, the news listed in New News are listed in chronological order, with the most recent news at the top. News are not randomly placed by importance. On 10 October, France won the 2020-21 UEFA Nations League by defeating Spain 2-1. On October 7, the Tanzanian author Abdulazak Gurna (pictured) was awarded the 2021 Nobel Prize in Literature. On October 4, Fumio Kishida, president of the Liberal Democratic Party, was elected as the 100th Prime Minister (Prime Minister). On October 1st, the 2020 World Expo, which was postponed due to the 2020 COVID-19 pandemic, was opened in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. On September 26, 2021, the German Social Democrats won the first party in the German Bundestag election.

Instructions for writing

Please keep in mind that content in news articles is subject to Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. When adding content, first check whether the content is in the monthly news, if not, add it to the monthly news first. Add news articles directly to Wikipedia, and the core content of the news should be in the Wikipedia article. In addition to Korea, please deal with news from other countries and from various fields. When adding content, if there are no recent events that become keywords, highlight the key words (words in bold) and leave only 5 items, avoid highlighting too much. Please enter the date in local time. When adding pictures/pictures, set the right alignment to 100px and always place it on top. After adding or modifying content, please briefly describe the content in the editorial summary column. Please refrain from posting duplicate listings of the same person's 'recent death' and death news in general news.

Resolving Disputes

New news, which should show a limited number of news, may change frequently according to each user's criteria, and sometimes there may be disputes over what to post.
