The Yoo Jae-ha Music Contest is a Korean popular music contest held every year to remember Yoo Jae-ha and his music and to discover talented new pop musicians.
This competition was held from the 1st in 1989 to the 16th in 2004, in the form of giving scholarships to the winners through the scholarship of the Yoo Jae-ha Music Scholarship Association (the late founder Yooil-cheong, chairman Yoo Geon-ha) established in 1988 with the proceeds of the album by the bereaved family. The show was suspended due to financial problems, but the 17th was resumed in 2006 with the support of Cyworld. In 2003, Hanyang University's 31st Student Association (Student Council President Shin Jin-soo) invited it from the 15th to the permanent attraction at Hanyang University.
In particular, as it became unclear whether the 24th tournament in 2013 was held due to the absence of a sponsor, the 'Yoo Jae-ha Alumni Association', a former member of the Yoo Jae-ha Music Contest, stepped out and took charge of the event and publicity. On November 1, 2014, the 25th Past Winners
