A year later, Mahut reached the finals of Queen's (the London ATP tournament), beating Jonas Björkman, Ivan Ljubičić and Rafael Nadal among others, only to lose in the final to multiple tournament winner Andy Roddick. In 2013, Mahut won his first title by winning the Rosmalen ATP tournament. In the final he defeated the Swiss Stanislas Wawrinka.
