Dawit Minasiani (Georgian დავით მინასიანმა, born July 14, 1992) - Georgian ski jumper and hockey player. In the first of these disciplines, a medalist of the Georgian championship, and in the second, a representative of the country, a participant of the world championships and a medalist of the Georgian championships.

Curriculum vitae

In 2012 Minasiani won the silver medal at the Georgian Ski Jumping Championships on the K45 hill at Sakartwelo in Bakuriani, losing to Levan Kozanashvili. A year later, in the same place, he became the champion of the country. As a ski jumper he was registered in the base of the International Ski Federation, and in 2013 he participated in the international training camp organized by the FIS in Predazzo, but he did not make his debut in the official international competitions held under the aegis of this organization. Minasiani also played ice hockey as a defender. In the 2014/2015 season, in the colors of the Bakurianis Mimino club, he made his debut in the highest division of Georgia. In 2014–2019, he performed in dozens of meetings at this level, several times winning the title of the national champion. At the same time, he was also a member of the Georgian national team, in which he took part in five editions of the world championship (in 2015-2018 in division III, which Georgia won in 2018, and in division IIB in 2019), as well as in qualifications for the Winter Games 2018. During the Ice Hockey World Championships 2022, in which Georgia played in division IIB, he was in the coaching staff of this team, responsible for the preparation of the equipment.
