Steinar Amundsen (born July 4, 1945 in Bærum, died June 16, 2022 in Røyken) - Norwegian canoeist. Two-time Olympic medalist. He won both medals in kayak fours. The 1968 Summer Olympics in Mexico was won by a settlement consisting of Egil Søby, Tore Berger, Jan Johansen and Amundsen, four years later, during the 20th Summer Olympics in Munich, the same settlement won a bronze medal. In 1969 he became the European champion, in 1970 and 1975 he won gold medals in the world championships.
