Large Norwegian encyclopedia
Store norske leksikon (Great Norwegian Encyclopedia) - Norwegian encyclopedia in Norwegian in the bokmål standard. It was created after the merger of two large Norwegian publishers Aschehoug and Gyldendal, creating encyclopedias and dictionaries, to create the Kunnskapsforlaget publishing house.
Between 1978 and 2007, four paper editions of the encyclopedia were published. The last edition, published with the financial support of the Fritt Ord association, contained 150,000 copies. passwords and 16 thousand. illustration. The encyclopedia has been available online since 2000, and since 2009 it can be edited by users. Kunnskapsforlaget, however, uses experts to review the content posted by readers. Some articles are published under a free license.
