WrestleMania 32 was the 32nd annual gala of professional wrestling produced by the WWE federation. It was broadcast in the pay-per-view (PPV) system and on the WWE Network. It took place on April 3 at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas. It was the third WrestleMania organized in Texas.
There were twelve fights at the gala (including three during the WrestleMania Kickoff pre-show), including the shortest match in the history of the series - The Rock defeated Erick Rowan in six seconds.
According to WWE, WrestleMania 32 broke many records, including the record audience gathered in the arena (101,763 people). The gala earned the federation a profit of $ 17.3 million.
WrestleMania is the most important PPV series in WWE, it is called the Super Bowl of sports entertainment.
The official themes of the gala are "My House" and "Hello Friday" by Flo Rida, "Hail to the King" by Avenged Sevenfold, "Oh No" by Goodbye June and "Sympathy for the Devil" by Motörhead.
The biggest problem WWE faced in preparation for WrestleMania 32 was the plague of employee injuries. Due to an injury, they could not fight at WrestleMania, among others John Cena, Seth Rollins, Randy Orton. Daniel Bryan, Sting, Tyson Kidd and Nikki Bella all injured their neck; Kidd miraculously escaped paralysis or death, while Bryan was forced to end his career.
WrestleMania offered professional wrestling fights involving a variety of wrestlers from existing scripted competitions and storylines that feature on WWE's major weeks, Raw, and SmackDown. Wrestlers were presented as heels (negative, bad players and most often enemies of the audience) and faces (positive, good and most often the crowd's favorites).
Triple H vs. Roman Reigns
After Seth Rollins had to cancel the WWE World Heavyweight Championship as a result of an injury, Triple H offered Roman Reings a contender for the title on the condition that he joined The Authority. In this way, Reigns would bypass the tournament to select a new champion. Reigns refused and eventually won the tournament and the retired title at the Survivor Series. Triple H's intervention after the fight allowed Sheamus to use his Money in the Bank suitcase and win the title. Sheamus saved his belt against Reigns in the Tables, Ladders, and Chairs match at TLC: Tables, Ladders and Chairs with help from Alberto Del Rio and Ruseva. After the fight, Reigns attacked the trio and then attacked Triple H, who came to the ring to calm the former champion. Reigns defeated Sheamus in Title vs. Career match the next night on Raw and regained the title. After Reigns won another battle with Sheamus, Mr. McMahon ordered the champion to defend his title in a 30-man Royal Rumble match at the Royal Rumble. At that event, Triple H returned as a 30th player, eliminated Reigns and won the match, becoming the new champion. On the January 25th on Raw, The Authority announced that Triple H will be defending his title at WrestleMania against the winner of the night's fight at Fastlane, which will feature Roman Reigns, Dean Ambrose and Brock Lesnar. Roman Reigns defeated both opponents, becoming a rival to Triple H at WrestleMania. On the February 22 episode of Raw, Triple H brutally attacked Reigns during his fight with Sheamus. Reigns injured his nose as a result of this attack. The following week on Raw, Ambrose confronted Triple H and challenged him to the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. Triple H accepted the challenge and eventually won the fight against Ambros at Roadblock. On the March 14th on Raw, Reigns returned and attacked Triple H after his fight with Dolph Ziggler.
