Paktika (Pashto پکتیکا, Dari پکتیکا - Paktikā) is one of the thirty-four provinces of Afghanistan. It is located in the southeast of the country. The administrative center is the city of Sharana. Territory - 19,482 km² with a population of 393,800 people. (2009).
