The 2022 Colombian presidential election is a snap election in Colombia. The first round took place on May 29. Since none of the presidential candidates received at least 50% of the votes, the second round of elections was scheduled for June 19, 2022. They were attended by Gustavo Petro and Rodolfo Hernandez Suarez. Incumbent President Ivan Duque Márquez was ineligible to run for a second term. In the second round, held on June 19, Gustavo Petro, candidate from the center-left coalition Historical Pact, won with a score of 50.44%.
