European Basketball Championship 2001

The 2001 European Basketball Championship was an international basketball competition held from August 31 to September 9, 2001 in three cities in Turkey: Istanbul, Ankara and Antalya. FR Yugoslavia won a gold medal, Turkey won a silver medal, while Spain won a bronze medal. Yugoslav national team player Predrag Stojakovic was named the best player of the championship.

Halls

The ASKI Sport Hall in Ankara hosted groups A and B. The Expo Center Hall in Antalya hosted groups C and D, while the second phase matches were played in the Abdi Ipekci Hall in Istanbul.
