A television series (abbreviated: TV series) is a set of episodes (shows) of a television program that are broadcast at regular intervals. They are often shown once a week at a set time; however, they may appear less frequently or more frequently. Episodes are grouped into series (seasons). There is a long break between the beginning of each series, which is usually one year.
