The Golden Bear (English Golden Bear, German Goldener Bär) is the highest award at the Berlinale film festival. The prize is awarded by an international jury. The statue, which is awarded, was designed by the artist Renée Sintenis in the form of the Berlin bear (symbol and part of the coat of arms of Berlin). The Golden Bear is awarded to a feature film, and since 2007 to a short film. So far, the following films have been awarded the Golden Bear:
