Jean Désiré Gustave Courbet (French: Jean Désiré Gustave Courbet; 10 June 1819 - 31 December 1877) was a French painter, leader of the 19th century realist movement. which is a movement that connects the artistic conception (found in the paintings of Théodore Géricault and Eugene de la Croix) and the Barbizon School family, Courbet played an important role in Christian French painting. 19th century as an innovator and as an artist who is willing to express his opinions and attitudes about society in his work
