Imran Ahmed Khan Niazi, (Urdu: عمران احمد خان نیازی‎; Pathan: عمران احمد خان نیازی‎, Imran Ahmed Khan Niazi; Born October 5, 1952) is a politician and former cricketer. Served as the 22nd Prime Minister of Pakistan between 2018 and 2022, Khan was born into a Pathan family. in Lahore in 1952 graduated with a Bachelor of Arts from Cable College. from Oxford University in 1975 and began as a professional cricketer at the age of 18 from the 1971 Test Series against England. Khan retired from cricket in 1992 and has been a rotating captain several times since. From 1982 to 1992, Khan won the 1992 Cricket World Cup, Pakistan's first and only victory in the tournament. Khan is recognized as one of the most skilled Alaurers. and named in the ICC Cricket Hall of Fame, Khan founded the Cat Cancer Hospital and Research Center. Before embarking on his career in politics, in 1996 he founded the Pakistani Party (PTI), which had seats in the National Legislative Assembly elected in 2002 and Chan was a member of the opposition.
