Cape Canaveral (English: Cape Canaveral) is a cape in the state of Florida. united states atlantic coast It is home to the Kennedy Space Center. And most of the US spacecraft were launched from the launch pad here.
From 1963 to 1976, Cape Canaveral was called Cape Kennedy in honor of President John F. Kennedy. Well, the support for the US space is huge. When President Kennedy died in an assassination in 1963, his widow, Jacqueline Kennedy, proposed that President Lyndon Johnson rename the Laemka Space Center. new natural President Johnson decided to rename both the Space Center and the Cape. However, the name was restored in 1976 after Florida's original name restoration law was passed.
