The State Statistics Service of Ukraine was created through the reorganization of the State Statistics Committee of Ukraine during the 2010 administrative reform.
The history of Derzhkomstat starts from the end of 1920, when the Central Statistical Office of Ukraine (CSUU) was founded. In the 1920s pp. The CSSU enjoyed considerable autonomy both in terms of statistical research plans and publications. The main publications of the CSSU: "Statistics of Ukraine" (1921 - 31, 209 issues), "Statistical Chronicle" (1925 - 29, 152 issues), periodicals - "Statistical Bulletin" (1921 - 25) and "Statistical Bulletin" (1928 - 30), yearbooks "The economy of Ukraine was born" and yearbooks "Ukraine". Local statistical bureaus issued their statistical collections and bulletins.
In 1930, in connection with the introduction of five-year plans and increased centralization, the Central Committee of the Central Committee (as well as the Central Committee of the USSR) was abolished, and its functions were taken over by the State Planning Committee of the USSR. During the purges of the apparatus in the 1930s pp. many co. TSUU was repressed. Since 1931, the publication of statistical materials has been almost completely stopped. During the 1930s pp. only 4 statistical reference books were produced, qualitatively weak and often with falsified data.
1941 The Central Committee of the USSR was restored, but it continued to be subordinated to State Planning. In 1948, it was removed from the State Plan and subordinated directly to the Council of Ministers of the USSR. The restored Central Security Service of the Ukrainian SSR was initially subject to the Central Security Service of the USSR and was independent of the government of the Ukrainian SSR.
In connection with the economic reforms initiated by Nikita Khrushchev in 1956, the Central Committee of the Ukrainian SSR had little connection with the government of the Ukrainian SSR. In 1957, the publication of statistical materials was resumed. Since 1959, the Central Central Bureau of the Ukrainian SSR has been publishing annual statistical yearbooks "National Economy of the Ukrainian SSR" and short directories
