A playwright (female playwright) is a writer who creates dramatic works (dramas, tragedies, comedies, tragicomedies, vaudeville, mysteries, interludes, dramatic poems, etc.) intended for theatrical performances or reading. Author of plays. Some playwrights (William Shakespeare, Moliere, Ivan Kotlyarevsky, luminaries of the Ukrainian theater) not only wrote plays, but also realized them on stage.
