Anton Eduardovich Polyakov (November 11, 1987, Chernihiv, USSR - October 8, 2021, Kyiv, Ukraine) - former Ukrainian politician, People's Deputy of the IX convocation from the Servant of the People (constituency № 206, part of Novozavodsky district of Chernihiv, Ripky, Chernihiv districts), non-partisan .

Biography

He was born on November 11, 1987 in Chernihiv, had two brothers and a sister. He graduated from high school. In 2004 he graduated from the Chernihiv Collegium № 11, served in the Internal Troops of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine in Odessa, where he was engaged in the protection of rolling stock during the transfer of prisoners. In 2020 he graduated from Kyiv University of Market Relations (specialty "law"). In 2010 he registered TM "Count", a store specializing in the sale of floor coverings, and later opened a store LaminateExpert. On October 4, 2021, Polyakov claimed on the air of Ukraine 24 that "servants" were given money in the toilet of the Verkhovna Rada during the consideration of the law on oligarchs. He said he testified at the National Anti-Corruption Bureau. On October 8, 2021, at the age of 33, Polyakov was found dead in the back seat of a taxi in Kyiv's Dniprovskyi district. According to the Kyiv Prosecutor's Office, "the death occurred as a result of acute coronary insufficiency, acute coronary heart disease."

In the Verkhovna Rada

From August 29, 2019 to October 8, 2021 - People's Deputy of the IX convocation from the party "Servant of the People" (acting № 206, Chernihiv). Member of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Anti-Corruption Policy, Chairman of the Subcommittee on Compliance with Anti-Corruption Legislation in the Sphere of Defense Industry Reform. On November 15, 2019, together with Anna Skorokhod, he was expelled from the Servant of the People faction. The reason for exclusion is non-voting for bills on which there is a joint decision of the faction. Polyakov called the decision a political massacre. According to him, he was explained the exception by the fact that he had a channel in the Telegram, in which he criticized the faction and its decisions. However, Polyakov and Skorokhod continued to be the focus of journalists' attention. On December 16, 2019, he applied to leave the Servant of the People party and called it a "formality" that needs to be done. Until June 2020, it was non-partisan. On April 6, 2020, it became known that Polyakov had submitted 6,000 amendments to the second reading
