Origin

The ancestors of the Tran dynasty, who worked as a fisherman, were originally from the Man land in Fujian province, who migrated to Dai Viet, first in Yen Sinh commune, Dong Trieu district (Quang Ninh), then moved to Tuc Mac, Nam Dinh. The descendants of the Tran Dynasty are descendants of the Tran lineage and the Ly lineage except in the case of Tran Ly, Tran Thua, and Tran Thua's son, Tran Canh, the first king.
